The set Leader Pose Component works like charm on interacting animation. It does not only animate the body mesh but the whole Metahuman Skeleton Mesh. (UE5.4)

Once the modular rig is done, I try to load animsequence on the character and convert it to layered control rig to modify the animation but arms and shoulders won't move when animating the spine, is there a way to correct that?

Your game is Good and has better quality than GOBB but i still think overall GOBB has more original and better storyline since it's currently 7 chapters long with the 5th chapter being the end chapter which is my theory

My walls are not blocking the player paddle from moving through them. They block the ball just fine.

If you're a solo just stick with blueprints. Small teams without proper programmer might just stick with blueprints. We shouldn't waste time to get that 1% performance and use time to create more good stuffs.

Thank you a lot for this video. I can do some pretty complex stuff with UE, but I had an animation blueprint that just refused to do anything no matter what I tried. Other tutorials showed bits and pieces or jumped around too much to really help me identify the issue. 5 minutes with this tutorial and I finally had it fixed, so I had to drop you a note to show my appreciation (even though my fix wasn't what your video was really about - thorough enough to be useful for a variety of situations).

Can I add another little character? -caro the carrot! - a carrot mascot with the same clothes as him -helps the player -talks to the player when their stuck (Just a idea,btw love ur vids,it's k if u Dont,or use it in the future,of a chapter 2 or sm)

Thanks for this video. Do you know how to use sliders to play through an animation? I would like to connect a slider to my animation and when I drag the slider it runs through the animation. Let's say you import an simple cube animation with translate and rotation from Maya that you have done. Then you connect the animation to the slider in Unreal. How do you do that, can't find any info about Driven, or Run or Play your animation with a UI slider for Unreal anywhere? Can look into this? Thanks in advance. Hope for a reply.

I think the texture graph is a huge step forward for unreal engine. It's lacking a lot of features that adobe substance designer has, but it has a lot of potential. Being able to make your own textures inside the engine would make work flow a lot faster in my opinion. Also, not having to pay for adobe's ridiculous subscription prices for their software will always be good.

Is the character able to move or not when aiming? I wasn’t sure watching it, but I'm looking for a classic RE4 combat system, so I'd like to make the character not able to move in aim mode

Omg... I might upgrade just for the seamless retarget...

My top 4 features are the editor freezing every 2 seconds, the default lighting looking really weird, the constant crashes and when enabling root motion on an animation it won't lock the character in place anymore.

Hi. I followed your video to make this game in Unreal Engine 5.4.1. Everything is fine except detaching camera when player died. When i use perspective mode with camera, it's just work fine. But when switch to orthographic mode, after detaching the camera still keep following player. Why is this? I can not find a solution for this.

Awesome tutorial, Menu systems usually get forgotten and glad i found this one. Something i did find for the resolution is you could convert int point x to string and put that through a "Switch on String", just so you don't have cascading branches. Also means you can have a default as a failsafe.

i tried it! it is really cool but if you dont have any experience in animation like me it is only good for really simple animations like what he did. if your trying to make fighting and running animations i found it really it hard.
